Featured Several killed as Modi's Bangladesh visit sparks violent protests

@Vapnope

And you claim to be world biggest democracy... so protesting becomes a crime now. Smooth

We dont claim- we ARE the world's biggest democracy. None of us have however clained that BD is one though. But that is irrelevant, These criminals broke the rules while protesting, unlike several protesters who didnt. And hence were whacked by the BD cops.

Amnesty asks Bangladesh authorities to respect right to peaceful protest

Published : Saturday, 27 March, 2021 at 4:41 PM

The Bangladeshi authorities must respect the right to freedom of assembly and protect peaceful protestors, said Amnesty International, after police opened fire on protestors at a rally in Chattogram on Friday, killing at least four people and injuring dozens of others, according to local media sources.

On a day of nationwide protests against the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at least 60 people were injured at a separate protest in Dhaka according to local media, many with gunshot wounds. The crackdowns are the latest in a series of violent responses to protests in Bangladesh in recent weeks.

“The scenes of violence we witnessed in Chattogram and Dhaka follow a worryingly familiar pattern of behaviour by the Bangladeshi authorities. The right to peaceful protest has come under concerted attack, particularly during the coronavirus pandemic, culminating in this type of bloody repression,” said Sultan Mohammed Zakaria, Amnesty International’s South Asia Researcher.

“Bangladesh’s commitments under international law and its own constitution enshrine the right to peaceful assembly. The authorities must respect these commitments, protect peaceful protestors and halt the use of unlawful and excessive force.”

I do understand that your lust for blood is not over, not yet, hence your lot enjoys when passenger planes in Pakistan crashes or Worshipper die in New Zealand so i am not surprised that you are happy that protesters were killed in cold blood in Bangladesh. Your lot advocate vegan diet because you dont want to kill animals but it is whole different story that blood of innocents gives you pleasure.

@Vapnope

Vapnope bhai,

I dont cheer airplanes crashing anywhere or worshippers getting killed. Nor am I a vegan. I am a hard core carnivore (except on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Some ghairat displayed by Bangladeshis..

But as long as awami league and its piss drinking hindu supporters are present in large numbers , bangladesh will always be a colony of India.

Those who martyred were far better than our indophile liberals or traitors sitting in our parliament like mohsin dawar

Unfortunate.

But fellow at 00:09 mins in long Arab dress. Trying to be more Arab than Arabs.
Muslims in telangana are also wearing those robes these days..especially on fridays...hasnt this started in your karnataka?

This buffoons forced 'diplomacy' - maan na maan, me tera mehmaan had put the govt in a no win situation.

Just like trump's UK visit, no one wanted him to visit and he's come and created a headache for everyone. The police as usual have been complete dogs to protesters.

Firstly, I will just say I live in the Deccan.

Secondly, yes, in my neighborhood I have seen on at least two occasions some 10 to 13 year old boys who wear it for their lessons in the mosque.

So it might be the case elsewhere in the country too.

why you so jelly of Gujarati Businessmen, Bro? Become a Billionaire yourself and start funding the poltical parties of your choice..very simple

protesting is counter productive when you start burning and destroying your own city
I want to educate and train my people, OBC SC ST, to bring down the businesses which fund political parties, replace them with our own. I want to destroy that system and have not intention to participate.

The well funded political rallies and parties are only required by minority upper caste to fool the majority OBC SC ST during elections. Aim is Business and political parties of, for and by OBC SC ST,... Modi, BJP RSS, Congress, Adani, Ambani etc naturally don't want to be replaced and so are in the way.
