Im not sure what futuristic about having a skyscraper, especially in poor regions. Futuristic is SUSTAINABILITY, something which China knows NOTHING about, the future is certainly not fucking big towers, thats the end of times you cretin.

The future is keeping green space, not harming the ecosystem, sustainable living, the future of dytopian movies and books is filled with skyscrapers. If I close my eyes and imagine a future I want, I dont want to see ugly 100 story skyscrapers, it would be even worse if I realised I was in Russia to.

As for the chinese/russia buttfuck, stop it, it only occurs on this forum and in politics. In real life you very rarely see a Russian with a Chinese unless hes harassing him on a metro.

I think you did not understand my post. I said exactly what you said. I said skyscrapers are something from the past and definity not something that i see as something futuristic. Maybe you aren´t fluent in english?

Impressive skyline, which is, unlike Istanbul, does not seem to compromise the city's recreational and historical sites. That's how Istanbul looks from one angle (probably the most famous angle where that tiny tower is in the center).

The picture you posted isnt the most famous spot for historical skyline, but the modern building are indeed getting problematic for the historical look of the city, the problem is you need to build new buildings somewhere, the look depends on the angle you are looking as in every city, the modern Skyline is actually quite far away from historic center.

lol, our people live like shit and we have low quality of life, salary, life expectancy but its OK we got big fucking towers. You Russians act more and more like Americans every fucking day, the exact same type of people just on different parts of the world, the cold war was just a pissing contest between 2 angry siblings and bullshit like this is the same as guys with small cocks getting big cars, frankly I and I imagine 90% of the world would rather live in a city that does not have huge towers everywhere as they are fucking hideous.

My city has one tower that is just over 100 metres, the rest are about 80, and thats a good mix, the rest of the city has lots of parkland and historical buildings and thats why its such a nice place to live. When I think of cities with skyscrapers it makes me think of hell, living surrounded by giant concrete and glass penises in the sky.

Its why cities like Nizhny Novgorod are far more appealing to any human beings eye than any of the other Russian skyscraper laden cities, skyscrapers = destruction of beauty.

Why is that? I would prefer a combination of both. Skyscrapers look very good at night and also you need green space to relax. London skyline is also sexy.
