Aurangabad: In a daring attack, Maoists today blew up a vehicle killing all seven occupants in Bihar’s naxal-infested Aurangabad district, a top police officer said.

The incident took place in Pathara village as the Maoists detonated a cane bomb to blow up the vehicle killing all seven occupants, including a Zila Parishad member Usha Devi’s husband Sushil Pandey, on the spot, Director General of Police (DGP) Abhayanand told PTI.

The ultras targeted the ill-fated vehicle while it was headed to Pandey’s native Pisai village, the DGP said.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) Daljeet Singh and other local civil and police officials have rushed to the spot with additional force to launch combing-cum-search operation against the Maoists, Abhayanand said.

Efforts were on to ascertain the identity of the other victims, he said.

RIP

Maoists kiling indians left and right

. .
Maoists are no friends of the oppressed tribals they claim to represent.

But tribals are the most oppressed group in India right now.

For a long time the indians themselves held the tribals in contempt.

RIP .....

What is Nitish Kumar waiting for ??

Indian police aren't equipped for fighting armed insurgencies.

He is probably waiting for central paramilitary forces
