Seven killed as blast hits passenger van in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least seven people were killed and four others injured in an explosion inside a passenger van in Peshawar on Thursday.

The ill-fated Toyota HiAce was coming from Badaber village to Peshawar when the blast occurred on Kohat Road.

The vehicle was completely destroyed in the blast, however, number of total passengers onboard could not be confirmed.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to Lady Reading Hospital. According to hospitals sources, seven people have been killed in the incident.

Nature of the explosion could not be ascertained yet.
