I would love to see all the US banks CEOs from 2008 as well as Fannie Mae etc under locker as well if we are to be fair. If that was not the massive meltdown on a deliberate scale that brought entire world economies to a brink of disaster then going after a few millions is chum change.

Europe is not the center of universe for football last i checked... there is a greater world outside. Rightfully, it deserves to be hosted in each continent on a rotating basis. If FIFA has some sense they will do it this way.

Pal, read my comments before. My friend worked with Sepp for over 10 years. Europeans and everyone were as guilty. Germans bribed their way to 2006 cup. There is a lot of money to be made by the European federations for their own pockets.
Everyone has their interests. If the cost of getting the cup to SA was 10mil, then there is no shame. If the Germans were morally corrupt when it was well known that 2006 was promised to South Africa but they bribed the voting comittee to go the other way, then play the same game as the others.
Venues for Russia not Qatar should change. A decision was made, it is final.

man, you have no fun. i have 3 at home. the vuvuzelas in 2010 WC was the plastic ones; you should here the ones in local matches which are around 1.5m long and made of metal.
it is great atmosphere, full drums, trumpets etc....

Hopefully this will force more international organisations, companies and governments to deal with Chinese banks and renminbi instead of US banks and the dollar.

The US has shown its not trustworthy anymore. More people distrust the US, the more it benefits China.

Why anyone would have their money in American banks is beyond me.

Hopefully FIFA will open an account with the PBOC and transact in renminbi.

Now people know the US will go after them if they don't kowtow to the US, and this is exactly what will benefit China overtime as people seek an alternative and China can provide that alternative.

Good news for China that the US continues on its path of self-destruction thus helping China.
