There is a new type of game being played….. Afghan Talibans will never get legitimacy, support and lifeline unless we support them. At this moment they are 100 percent dependent on us .
On the other hand their tribal, family and religious allegiance will never allow them to kick TTP out. Remember they lost power because they refused to hand over Laden. Why would they hand over their kin and family members to us ? They are intermarried and have settled for decades across the border.
We cannot demand and expect them to deliver . They are really stuck. Too much pressure and they will see us as an enemy and not friends.
In a situation like this it is best to rely on targeted assassinations, diplomacy and deny them any large scale coordinated place to settle or attack.
Talibans are under the miceoscope right now. World is watching if they harbour foreign terrorists. We can push them slowly to show and prove that other countries are safe from them.
As for the Baloch terrorists they are doomed ….
The only reason they are attacking more than ever is because they need to reestablish themselves inside Pakistan after loosing bases in Afghanistan. They really have no where to go and if they can carve a no go area inside Balochistan they will get the breathing space.
Killings of BLA terrorists in Iran is a clear indication that they are feeling the heat and receiving the message from Iranians to get lost. Iranians played double game by black mailing us and providing shelter to BLA but this is quickly becoming a big Liability as they also have Baloch on their side of the border which are embroiled by watching their brothers attacking Pakistanis. How long before they do the same to Iranians ?
This uptake in violence is temporary at best and we need to be steadfast and not give an inch to these terrorists. They are starved for the bases and support.
Let them struggle and in the process loose many men they rely on as foot soldiers. These men were trained by the Afghanis and they no longer have their military and financial backup.
