3. Light armed vehicle
4. Anti soft avionics bomb
5. etc etc

VHF radar is perhaps the most sensible 9f all these things and doable as well. It will be most likely a ground based VHF radar for air space monitoring.

new apfsds rounds for 125mm gun, now that's some news.

Have been playing a little woth tungsten and DU APFSD rounds we produce for over 3 years now. It seems the got it right finaly. December 2015 the problem was with accuracy but that was sorted and new tests were planned for Feb. It is most likely the same thing.

I think Sohail Aman has stated that PAF future is in developing 5th generation fighter --- perhapes if it gives you a hint. Definitly we are not going to integrate a Ground-based Radar in a 5th generation aircraft :p

Modern stealth aircrafts may not be optimised against VHF radars, a possibility in downing F-117. The length of wave is longer than usual radars(using different frequency bands) therefore stealth efficiency (RAM, shape of aircraft etc) decreases which also gives increased range to this radar.

This gives an idea that such a radar will be made to detect stealthy aircraft.
