K9 all the way.....They even allowed Full TOT for Turkey .

Not only that, but having seen L&T manage infrastructure projects like skyscrapers, metros, airports, seaports, etc. even though some of them being very complex projects and were even new to the company, I wanna see them produce armored front line vehicles now. :D

1.) Test L&T competence as a lead integrator
2.) Stronger defence relations with S. Korea
3.) Already a good platform

The problem with L&T is extremely poor human resources management which translates to the problem of employee retention.

The average work hours for a senior engineer is 14-16 hours daily. And yeah, there's no holiday on Sunday, forget weekends. Then the pay is hardly inspiring, and the HR just terrible. You're not an engineer at L&T, you're a glorified clerk, or worse laborer.

The fresh graduates are the lifeline of L&T. But due to the workload and lack of breaks, the best minds leave L&T immediately after the bond period is over.

It has to correct this if it wants to be more than just a EPC firm.

Well I still remember my MBA placement days ,they came up with the offer of ₹4.5CTC with 2 years service agreement also 65% through out your academics compare to ₹8.2 LPA college average without so any riders. :P

Most private players extract work with less pay..

Go for k9. Russian products have unrealible supplies. Also it would enhance india S.Korea defence relation.

Exactly we should go for the Korean K-9

Wouldnt it be better if the towed, wheeled, and tracked artillery systems were based on the same gun? is it that hard to standardize equipment? Next thing you know the army will be complaining about buying spares for 3 different 155/52 guns.

Since all of them are made in India, spare will never be an issue. Its an issue only if the parts are of foreign origin and subject to their export laws and uncertain pricing and delivery dates.
