Security forces foil terror bid in Pishin

QUETTA: Levies force and police personnel foiled a mega planning of sabotage and seized landmines in Village Surab near Killi Trakha area of Pishin district on Wednesday.

According to Levies sources, on special directives of Deputy Commissioner Pishin Aurangzeb Badeni, security forces including Levies and police personnel carried out a search operation in the area and seized eight landmines from a house.

The levies sources said recovered landmines had been covered in the house which would be used for sabotage activities in province.

Security forces cordoned off the entire area and started efforts to trace out suspects.

Further investigation was underway.
