Secular activist who criticised Islamism killed in Dhaka

Nothing abnormal. Actually more Muslims and low cast left India to live and work in BD. We have a count of 2 mlln so far. So we welcome India building fences.

Let's stay on the topic, what is your opinion about the murders of these secular writers, professors and bloggers?

How many writers, activists, professors, bloggers, thinkers these radicals have killed in last one decade? And what action was taken about it?

How many? I cant recall actually, can you help? Maybe you know better? And Im not in favour to give these people some intellectual status. One name I can remember is Humayun Azad who was well known plagiarist. And these bloggers are also same. What they are doing for betterment of BD that we can give them prestigious status and how many knew before their murder? Mind farting around offending their readers. Know your readers and keep yourself protected by taking necessary steps. Many people die in BD for various reasons I will put them in same category why will they be immune from such scenarios? No one should expect perfect law and order. Even in western countries you see lots of shooting and bombings. Compare that with bigger population of BD and you get a balanced scenario. And hand of law order is strong and strict but slow they will be tried ultimately. BD has taken steps against JMB, Hijbut, Ansarullah, BB killers, 71's cases. Compare that with India's Gujrat, Delhi, Kashmir, Assam killings which are bigger in volume and destruction. I know BD is like celebrity to you that our small fart is bigger news to the world. Can you name any active terrorist retard mind public figure in BD anyone equal to India's baba rampal or yogi adiattanath or USA's Trump. Do I need to dig out the old threads on previous killings to show you how most Bangladeshis here support them or justify these murders? Check out any the comment sections of Bangladeshi online media or Bangladeshi facebook pages on this news, there are more people sympathizing with the murders than condemning it. Calling it BS doesn't hide the facts.

There are very few people in BD from BNP/Jamat they support these killings. But they are a little minority in BD about 10% as they want to create a parallel state like Pakistan throwing BD constitution. You have to understand they arent BD nationalist so BD cant be blamed for their activities. They will be high in number in pak forums, does it makes sense? Even jamaat published in response they have nothing to do with this. BD is a state of confusing ideology. We really don't know who we are. We are Islamic? Some will say yes,some no. We are secular, yes. Some will say No, BD is not secular.

Bangladesh is oxymoron country. Its secular country. Its Islamic country. Its radical country of Islamists, its liberal country for secularists.

Hindus have West Bengal. East Bengal is not for Hindus.

Bangladesh is 90% Muslim country. Everywhere minorities feel insecure. You feel safe when you are living with same religious group. My opinion is Hindus of Bangladesh should move to adjacent Indian states West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. They will feel safer since India is Hindu majority.

Hindu population will decline more until zero. Its natural persecution. By 2050 there will be 0.05% Hindus in Bangladesh.

Islam is a big identity for Bangladeshis. Even court doesn't dare to declare state religion is against Bangladesh liberation spirit. To hell with liberation spirit. Islam and Muslim identity is way bigger than Bengali or Bangladeshi identity.

Read your own post, you just ended up justifying the killing, like most other Bangladeshi. The only difference is that some put it bluntly, and you have used so many words to show that you are not justifying it while justifying it.

Its not. But he said why he is atheist, why doesnt believe in any religion and said something he learned that creation was scientific phenomenon and creation of religion and race is by savage people. Stuffs like those in FB. BD is still a developing country and recently due to gov's heavy initiative on digitalize the country even the most backward man has connection to internet. So through that they are easily subscribing these odd stuffs that they never seen in their life. And these people are much uneducated even in Islam's teaching. Only learned that he has to get angry seeing anyone offending Islam but in his whole life he hasnt lived Islamic life like praying 5 times or the higher virtues, even committed sins according to Islam like taking illegal drugs or molesting girls, the people in BD fb who has higher number of likes in islamic pages also has higher number of pornographic likes. So you get an idea what kinds of people are these. They believe attacking islamic offenders is a great chance to escape from their sins. Also most are adolescents trying to have their own name through their achieved shallow knowledge, attacks are also coming from adolescents who doesnt have grasp of anything. And this man is from BD's Sylhet one of the hardcore Islamist area so his friend list must be full of people from that area and the hit list we are talking about also originated from there. They kept sylhetis on top priority according to another sylheti blogger.

By your logic atheists and people of other religions should start murdering Muslims then because Muslims call them names like kafir, mushrik, malaun and all such stuff. none of those died applied to get asylum... one of them even was dumb enough to go from a western country to bd only to be killed.

Maybe they believed in a cause larger than themselves. That's how any change has happened anywhere.
