heh; they were the only ones who could build the ark in a limited time in 2012 :cheesy:

Are we not getting 8 of them? If yes than can somebody tell me are they of the same class or better ones? and what is their arrival time line?

Congrats on getting Shamsheer.
I am not looking to flame but how does F22p Shamsheer compare to Projetct 17 Shivalik frigates by India to be inducted in April 2010.

Pls. give only relevant facts nothing else.

till 2013 we will be having four of these frigates...according to PN's future ambition they at least want to have 8-10 frigates....after four is there any chance that there will be any more f-22P....

Guys, if we had wanted F-22P more, we would have seen the order for them by now, as it takes 3-5 years for the delivery to take place.

PN always tries for 3-4 frigates of the same class, exception for more if the frigate/destroyer is of superior class.

4 are enough for the time being, we need now is something much superior.

The turkish Milgem & Chinese Type-054A are very good options.

We may see the Chinese one, as Turkish may have a few western equipment, which we may not be able to buy or not sold.
