You don't need to be swayed by CPC propaganda.
The only thing that matters is that Scarborough shoal is ours, and we control it. And the Philippines doesn't have the defense budget to do anything about it, tell me how you will combat the PLAN. Even our nuclear submarines alone would cost as much as the entire defence budget of the Philippines.
Events will unfold and accelerate once the decision is handed down. You can bet on that. What happens next, well we will see.
First of all, I'm a Taiwanese. And secondly, why don't you rebut what Allen has written, instead of blaming everything you have no answer for as "CCP propaganda"?
Okay you're not a CHINESE but TAIWANESE LOL
Anyway China's 9 dash line is not recognized by international community. Even your Chinese or Taiwanese scholars can not prove its validity or existence... it was never clarified... that's why you don't want no part of the arbitration 'cos you can't prove it.. you can't.
Court only matters when the results are binding and enforceable. Otherwise, it might as well be entertainment. Like when those idiot Spaniards declared Hu Jintao as a "war criminal." I mean, as stupid as that declaration was, who's going to come get him? The Spanish Armada? The PLAN would turn that into a bunch of metal burritos at the bottom of the ocean within half a day.
Similarly with whatever random court ruling. Realistically speaking, no one is going to risk their economic ties with China over uninhabited rocks.
In case the we win the case in the arbitration, then...
We shall see if China has the balls to defy international law.
We shall see what happens next if China chooses that path.
We shall see how the international community will react to a rogue country.
We shall see if the MDT and EDCA between the US and the Philippines will be enforced.
We shall see what role Japan will take after the decision is handed down.
We shall see what effects the decision will have on China's economy.
We shall see what Vietnam will do next after this decision.
We shall see how strong China's influence really is on the ASEAN.
One thing is almost certain however, having gone this far, we will not back down especially if we have the legal and moral grounds behind our claim.
