Wow alot of supporters for martial law..... How about the Govt may fall and an interem govt is formed and then elections happen? this way democracy survives and we dont get dictators.

Possible but who will form the interim Govt. & how will they clean all this mess in short time to insure 100% fair elections? They need time, as long as the interim Govt. is corrupt free & new people it is 100% good.

Who were you supporting before????

No one, had some sympathies with PTI but thats it. But was unsure about the way Tahir was protesting. Thought it would turn into bloodbath so was against it. But this is a big achievement

:butcher: WE ARE COMING ZARDARI!!! You better hide

INHSAALLAH yaar, please pray. But there is an unconfirmed report that Zardari & his family have left Pakistan at 0545 to Dubai, can anybody please confirm this.

That will never happen. You cant be corruption free. The best time might be now as we have now new parties and the election commissioner is good with the CJ also very good and the army not interested in Politics.

When & if Govt. collapses this will make way for Gen. Musharraf return.

wow... what's going on in Pakistan. Political turmoil or something good might come out of this? This is an opportunity to set the things right. Everyone.. get on to Qadri's bandwagon. Don't let this opportunity go waste....

ISLAMABAD: According to Geo TV, the Supreme Court has ordered for the arrest of Pakistani PM Raja Pervez Ashraf in connection with alleged corruption in power projects.

Earlier, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said Pakistan's general elections, due this year, will be held on time, and the Election Commission should be ready for it.

Hearing a case related to reforms in the election process, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said the elections cannot be delayed, Geo News reported.

The case was heard by a three-judge bench headed by the chief justice.

During the proceedings, Chief Justice Chaudhry remarked that the elections would be held on time no matter what. No compromise would be acceptable, he added.

He said the poll panel should be ready to follow the guidelines provided by the government to hold elections.

Strange Timing...

What If

PPP + SHC + Tahir all are one? scarifying another PM for larger goal?

In all seriousness, abb Allah hee hum parr raham karray to karray. This is not the way to conduct business of The State. Throughout our history someone has to show one-upmanship, may it be the military, the judiciary or the politicians.

One thing is clear, no one gives a damn about the economy, or the citizens of this nation.

Allah raham karey bhai.. Things are not looking good at the moment.

I bet IMI and others now regret not joining the march.
This has ISI written all over in the background.

He is taking credit and shouting that he will stay at the dharna till the govt goes. Well this is unprecedented.
