Look at this report, over 48 lost their lives and many more injured. I know this dispute was over water, but I do believe that tribal life and culture have greatly contributed in this bloodshed:

PESHAWAR: The ongoing water dispute in the Kurram tribal region deepened on Thursday as 13 more tribesmen were killed and 19 others were injured in clashes between the two rival groups.

According to sources, the dispute had taken a new turn after the involvement of militants in the clashes which took place in the tribal region’s Salozan and Tungi areas.

So far, 48 people have been killed and more than 80 injured in the past 13 days.— DawnNews

I agree with you that tribalism should end but It should be done by education and continuous process of bringing them in mainstream not abruptly. otherwise it leads to resistance by tribal people.

Yes, there should be a gradual process to it, otherwise it will backfire. But do our governments recognize this problem?
