What's new

Say 'I love you' to Hindu men, Sadhvi Prachi tells Muslim women on triple talaq issue

I don't go to someone else house and insult their beliefs. That is exclusive domain of only set of people and not Hindus.
We respect Allah, God, Ram, Buddha etc. and it does not make us any less Hindu. Heck, give us enough time and we will make Prophet and Jesus as our gods as well. we Hindus are cunning that way ;)
Yaar whole world follows monotheism except you guys. Heck you don't even eat beef while everyone else does. Kya kahu, Jo apki Marzi :disagree::disagree::disagree:

Like I stated, you won't see Hindus going into other people's homes and make demands. We know we are guests and we know how to behave. Even Hindus who have become citizens know they are guests into the culture of the country they are going to and completely respect that.

This is NOT apni Marzi...It's about the golden rule. Don't do to others what you don't want others do to you...It's the rule world should abide by.

I believe in supremacy of the Abrahamic religions  Soon our country's going to come into the Abrahamic fold

On topic: Muslim women are more beautiful, that's why Hindu men want them

Yeah? The fact is others are not only half blind but are squinted too

Your one eye sees only one god. That seems fine until one realizes that the god that you see is different than the god being seen by your half blind and squinted cousins.

On the other hand, Dharmics see the same god in multiple things. Hence we can see god in Jesus or Prophet Mohamed or anyone else.

This is the reason why we Dharmics constructed Buddhist, Hindu and Jain temples next to each other rather than destroying and constructing on top of the earlier ones.

This is too complicated for your simple minds to grasp.

ELEPHANT AND THE BLIND MEN

Once upon a time, there lived six blind men in a village. One day the villagers told them, "Hey, there is an elephant in the village today."

They had no idea what an elephant is. They decided, "Even though we would not be able to see it, let us go and feel it anyway." All of them went where the elephant was. Everyone of them touched the elephant.

story25i1.gif

"Hey, the elephant is a pillar," said the first man who touched his leg.

"Oh, no! it is like a rope," said the second man who touched the tail.

"Oh, no! it is like a thick branch of a tree," said the third man who touched the trunk of the elephant.

"It is like a big hand fan" said the fourth man who touched the ear of the elephant.

"It is like a huge wall," said the fifth man who touched the belly of the elephant.

"It is like a solid pipe," Said the sixth man who touched the tusk of the elephant.

They began to argue about the elephant and everyone of them insisted that he was right. It looked like they were getting agitated. A wise man was passing by and he saw this. He stopped and asked them, "What is the matter?" They said, "We cannot agree to what the elephant is like." Each one of them told what he thought the elephant was like. The wise man calmly explained to them, "All of you are right. The reason every one of you is telling it differently because each one of you touched the different part of the elephant. So, actually the elephant has all those features what you all said."

"Oh!" everyone said. There was no more fight. They felt happy that they were all right.

The moral of the story is that there may be some truth to what someone says. Sometimes we can see that truth and sometimes not because they may have different perspective which we may not agree too. So, rather than arguing like the blind men, we should say, "Maybe you have your reasons." This way we don’t get in arguments. In Jainism, it is explained that truth can be stated in seven different ways. So, you can see how broad our religion is. It teaches us to be tolerant towards others for their viewpoints. This allows us to live in harmony with the people of different thinking. This is known as the Syadvada, Anekantvad, or the theory of Manifold Predictions.

Heck you don't even eat beef while everyone else does.

Tomorrow, If everyone ate Humans then does it make it moral and ethical too?

I actually wanted to mention this from the past couple of days you guys have seen what zia did to Pakistan we're still recovering from it you guys still have a chance to stop this extremism is a grave danger once your country go down that path it becomes almost impossible to pull out of it but thankfully we've started to recover and you guys can put a stop to it now.
Sadly, it won't happen. Thing is that it is not as if the right wing Hindu nutjobs have not been around, they have been around for a long time and they have made such provocative and sensationalist statements since years - they just get more air time and their statements are highlighted by the media more when the BJP is in power. It is a self-feeding mechanism - they get more coverage, so more people come forward to make such statements. Although absurd - this statement neither preaches violence nor hate - so under what section are you going to prosecute the woman anyway.

Nobody eats it's own species

Humans are the only species on this earth that has caused untold harm to it's own species, intentionally...
We, as a species have done worse things to each other than eat each other.

For you not for me.

They're 2 different things for me too but not bringing down that dictator and accepting his rule and voting in a guy with popular vote are similar things at least for me it is.

Anyway you've your opinion and i have mine i will respect yours as long as you respect mine. Bye bye

Due to corruption of politicians, Pakistanis in general have soft corner towards military dictatorship. That applies to everyone from ayub to Musharaf.

So you have a moot point saying Pakistanis didn't oppose Zia which isn't true.

Having a soft corner doesn't mean people should accept an extremist as their leader who was hell bent on ruining everything.
and i thought it was over we've derailed this thread enough by going in circles no?

People never accepted him. That is the reason he is still hated and disliked by a lot of people.

And it won't end till you accept that you made a false comparison.

People hate modi too and in the future a lot more will hate him but majority loves him and don't want him to go.

It wasn't a false comparison and this is the last time i am telling you this if you don't want to accept simple basic things it isn't my problem so stop quoting me already because this is getting really annoying now. :disagree:

Only his political opponents hate him not the mass population who voted him and his ideology unlike Zia.

It was a false comparison. Even in your previous post you accepted that Zia and modi are two different things. Now if they are two different things then it is a false comparison unless you have some special formula to equalizer the two. In fact you have special formula to equalize the two by saying Pakistanis didn't oppose Zia which is a lie.

It can be annoying for you. But being an open forum, I am going to object if I find something wrong in your casual chat with your bharati friends.

Ah I can see where you're taking this to and i am not in the mood of going that way it ends here now you can keep quoting and keep repeating the same things again and again if you want to but i ain't gonna waste more time on this i tried to explain everything very friendly and humbly but you don't want to accept things that you don't like well that isn't my problem buddy.
