In war, assistance of friendly forces is utilized and so Pakistan utilized American machinery and technology.

No military can perform in conditions Pakistani military was in 71. A hostile territory where majority population was brainwashed, 5:1 troops against Pakistan, no supplies, no morale to fight 13 y/o kids, etc etc. USSR who played an important role in defeat also breakup which is even worst than Pakistan.
