Why do you need military base for? Just buy 30 40 Billion Dollars of Weapons from Russia along with training and a 10 20 billion dollars investment in Russia and their you have it.That will be 10 times more than what you bought in 100 Billion Dollars from USA. Flankers, Mi28 Havoc Gunships, S400 Buk and Pantsir Air Defense Systems, Armata Tanks, Everything along with training will be on the table in that amount of money which Saudi Arabia can easily afford . Why do you have to rely on some one else for defense if you have such strong economy. No more foreign military basis. Saudi Arabia have to decide it.
and no confrontation with USA is needed. Just reduce your Reliance on them for Your Defense.

Bangladesh army as insignificant as it is does it's job. They stay out of politics. And takes care of threats that BD face. They also contribute a lot to UN peacekeeping missions.

Well, Pakistan is a fauji state. Not saying it's a military sense. I'm saying, i Pakistan is fauji culture is revered. And all of you are proud of your military as you should be.

But here you are thinking Pakistani military base would be better than Russian military base or whatever....
Pakistani army has not been able to deal with terrorists themselves. They needed US to conduct strikes in Pakistan. Does not speak very highly of them, does it? Not to mention this does not speak very highly of your army either.

They view things in distorted sense, and need to fix it. A lot of their officials don't have political experience or simply don't belong in political scene. You need more qualified figures.
