Succession to the Saudi Arabian throne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I believe the King can choose who is going to be next in line (choose Crown Prince). Don't know for sure.
Thanks both. I think I can safely say that gau8av is wrong. No,the rule is the sons of Al Saud will held the throne first, after all of them are dead, the first son of the first son of Saud will be the king, that's the chronology.
Apparently the whore house of Saud has given him a long list of 'Sons'. So the prince have to wait, may be he will go to his grave as just a prince.
You are right, this is Wikipedia : new crown prince being appointed according to agnatic seniority among the sons of Ibn Saud, though various members of the family have been bypassed for various reasons.
