But against who does the Saudi's want this alliance to be ? Since Extremists funded by them are on the back foot from Syria to Iraq.. What would they be fighting ? Will Pakistani's fighting on behalf of Saudi's be gunned down by weapons provided by Saudi's ??

Ahahahaha...... True to some extent. However, seems you look at this from a white and black perspective my friend. You should never look at things like that in the middle east. It's never a situation of Good VS Evil, since alliances /allegiances are so intertwined in the middle east, and they often change at a moments notice. You will be surprised to see that in some aspect the Saudi government (not some of its people) actually avoids supporting die hard islamists groups in the region, since some of these groups are very anti monarchy themselves and they despise everything many governments in the middle east stand for. So it's often a tricky situation. Lol

Against whom really ? Neither the US and the West or Israel will never attack Saudi Arabis, They're political and strategic allies... Unless Vanuatu has some grouse against the "Muslim" world

I have no idea if this plan is actually for the defense of Muslim world or just that of KSA. But it does make sense to have such an alliance if the intentions are indeed noble.

Such an alliance can take lead in conflicts like Afghanistan and Syria. If there was such an alliance present to stop Iraqi aggression against Kuwait, there would have been no US boots on KSA, meaning no justification for the creation of Al-Qaida and hence no need for War on Terror. Muslims have to make sure that their conflicts are solved between them, whenever there will be an outside force involved in the conflict, extremists will convert that conflict into a religious war, recruits will be readily available and the vicious cycle will continue.
