You are showing glimpses of pre-Agnostic Hazzy. What we do in Syria has nothing to do with 'Jihad', considering the fact that we are allied with a secular regime. A secular system is not compatible with what you described.

The whole point of Syrian war was some countries trying to enforce their agenda on Syria, toppling its regime and propping up their own desired regime, by all means possible, we simply stepped in to prevent that, they won't get it with out a hard fight and bloody nose.

There is a reason why Israel and U.S support toppling of Syrian gov and furthermore, destroying the country even more, so that Syria will not be a serious threat against Israel anymore. Was it not for Syria, we wouldn't be able to transfer so much arms to Hezbollah.

Most importantly, Syria stood with us in Iran-Iraq war and helped us when almost all Arab regimes were fighting against us, we are paying the favor back. We are no traitors to our friends.

I'm not oblivious, I know why Iran supports Syrian regime. I just wanted to make my point that all sides invoke religion to their advantages so I don't want to see fake outrage or double standard from you. No, there won't even be a turn out. No volunteers will do so based on Saudi request or request from any other nation.
