Saudi Arabia's contribution in Bangladesh's development

Majority of Bangladeshis may dislike Saudis because of horrible conditions of Bangladeshi housemaids as slaves in Saudi Arabia but recently Saudi Arabia did a huge contribution for Bangladesh's infrastructural development. They funded Dhaka's most awaited flyover in the most jam packed Moghbazar-Malibagh area. Kudos to Saudis.

2nd phase of 8 km long Moghbazar-Malibagh flyover has been inaugurated for traffic recently.
Moghbazar intersection is the most jam packed area of Dhaka.

This project is majorly funded by Saudi Arabia. Rest is funded by BD govt.

1st phase was opened in March this year.

3rd phase will be inaugurated early next year.

Considering the wealth of Saudi and the number of Bengali labourers there ( 1.5 million ),this contribution is pretty low,but oh well,something is better than nothing!

But, their contribution is huge as an employer. 1.2 million Bangladeshi employee's are working their.
