110 km range, work ongoing on increasing the range to 200 km.

Old news but TKF-500 Saudi Arabian made jet engine used in small private aircraft, drones, and guided missiles. The engine was developed in JV by Brazil turbomachine company and KACST (King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology)

Saudi-Ukrainian Cooperation on Hrim Short-Range Ballistic Missiles (SRBMs)

Published on January 18, 2022

Secretly funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Hrim is a short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) currently under development in Ukraine. In exchange for the sponsorship, KSA will receive a full transfer of technology (ToT) that will enhance the Kingdom’s ability to domestically produce ballistic missiles (BMs).
Our 1045-word (3 pages) special report sheds light on the shadowy Hrim BM program and subsequent Saudi involvement, and provides an update on the system’s status (e.g. when the Saudis will receive the first transfer).

Apparently already used successfully by Ukraine during the recent war.

KSA unveiled the Al-Arqam short-range guided anti-tank missile. Laser-guided and wire-guided versions with a range of 6 km which can pierce 1500 mm thick armor. it's speed is near the speed of sound.

Related to Saudi Arabian made engines

SAMI Defense Systems, in partnership with MBDA, obtain approval to start establishing a joint venture in the field of missiles and missile systems. It seems that SAMI will start production operations for a number of missiles with MBDA, which were announced through previous exhibitions are: CAMM & CAMM-ER ASRAAM Brimstone Spear.

Saudi Arabia signs a joint venture agreement with European MBDA, a leading company in the field of missiles and missile systems, with the aim of establishing the “SAMI-MBDA” company for missile systems, which will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services, and “production and development” of missile defense systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Related news of the continues development of the local Saudi Arabian arms industry

Saudi LAV vehicles, but in this photo, equipped with LCTS 90MP 90mm turrets, “the most powerful of its kind in the world.” Armor hunters with automatic feeder, almost zero recoil and integrated with an advanced digital control system provide precise direct and indirect engagements at a range of 8 kilometers even during movement day or night.

CMI combat towers were localized through the Saudi SAMI-CMI company, a joint venture between Belgium - Saudi Arabia, which aims to localize all CMI combat towers of various calibers. Recently, the "Vision" tower appeared to us from SAMI-CMI, with 100% Saudi design and intellectual property, and this is just the beginning.

Saudi Zahid Industries will produce power units for Raytheon air defense systems in a dedicated factory in Jeddah, and it comes as part of a broad (Saudi-American) agreement to localize THAAD - Patriot defense systems with the participation of dozens of Saudi companies so that each Saudi company becomes specialized in manufacturing specific part.

From what I know most ATGMs only go as fast as ~300 m/s when they are fired. There are a few faster ones that are generally vehicle mounted.

Those are the specifications mentioned in the video. Could be a mistake from the presenter. However it makes sense. Do you have any data of what the fastest speed of the newest developed ATGM's are? For instance the French Akeron MP and the Israeli Spike LR2 and ER2?

Maybe @Beny Karachun can answer about the Israeli ones and their speed.

Around 250m/s when ground launched. The higher the ATGM speed is, the lower its range, which is a more important aspect, especially since they're launched at low altitudes where the air density is high.

Correction, the Saudi Arabian produced Al-Arqam modern ATGM is mounted on vehicles which explains the higher speed.

Al-Arqam ATGM developed by the National Company for Mechanical Industries (NCMS).
The missile is of the second generation and is available in two versions:
1- Laser guided
2- Wire-guided

The moment the Saudi ATGM *Al-Arqam* was launched from the Piranha land force vehicle and hit the target with high accuracy. The number has multiple wire-guided or laser guided methods with a range of up to 6,000 meters and is capable of penetrating 1,500 mm of RHA armor.

Footage of the Al-Arqam ATMG in action below hitting the designated target:

Yes, that makes sense. thank you.

The saudis can source out talent from a wider pool then most due to their access to the entire arab world and with money you can hire them as local and invent things at much greater and accelerated speed which is what is happening now the saudis have moved onto developing high end technology pretty fast

True but it is mostly local development. From what I know KSA and UAE in particular are working closely together along with former Denel employees and others.

KSA has developed a decent and booming domestic military sector and they are approaching 20% of self-reliance and the stated goal by 2030 (according to Vision 2030) is 50%. A long road ahead but KSA has the population, infrastructure (universities), research output, money, political ambitions and ties with relevant parties to succeed in this endeavour. However it would be no small feat.

For instance the UAE has a local talent pool of some 1 million people. KSA on the other hand has almost 30 million. This is a huge advantage. KSA started later compared to UAE, but is already ahead on many fronts and this will just continue. However the success of UAE is the success of KSA and vice versa as they cooperate closely.

.
I have information from a fairly reliable source that claims that KSA has mastered domestic production of all 3 (turbojet, turbofan, turboprop) and that some local-made models already have entered full-scale production.

There is talk of Czech (PBS Velka Bites), South African (Denel), the Brazilian cooperation from a few years ago that was made public and Chinese cooperation as well as other sources.

I have to say that all this bodes well.
