Just notice the trend... Pakistan conveyed a serious discomfort in bilateral relations.... US administration also changed..... Saudis come back running.....
Pakistan needs to negotiate this refinery deal on its own terms.... Not to be carried away on any strands of brotherhood...
Bc if at all this goes to Pakistani advantage, the western masters of the gulfies would pull the strings..... And there they go...

Regret to say that these are all speculations. Abu Dhabi refinery announced nearly 5 years ago is nowhere to be seen. I would not believe it until such time the contract for the construction has been signed.

Let's see if they are taking over PARCO project or two different location. But nothing is clear yet. Both located on Gwadar oil city . But, if it's only KSA investment then they only refined their oil or oil from UAE. Interesting scenario.

PARCO will be located at hub for which UAE is not providing finance so the project will probably be raised in the next pak china meeting.
2. I think most of the anti pak-saudi relation things doesn't comes from saudis but comes out from india. India is desperately trying to destroy our relations with saudis. In no way im not saying that our relations with saudis are 100% fine, they are not. But they aren't as bad as we think due to all the fake news. Just my 2 cents.

Fail to understand they been bullying Pak and sleeping for years and now all of sudden when Pak sign oil (PARCO ) refinery deal with China, Saudi jumped in, showed quick interest and ready to build refinery overnight.

China's orders to KSA have dried up and KSA requested Pakistan to assist in reinstating China-KSA relations. PARCO complex investment is Pakistan's price for assisting. With China as an investor in it, KSA will find it very difficult to pull out later.
