Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the United Nations, Abdullah al-Maalami, stressed the Kingdom's readiness for war if it were imposed on it: "We are its men", revealing one case in which the Gulf war with Iran could be avoided.

In an interview with an Arab newspaper, al-Maalami said: "I hope we are not going to go to war, it is not in the interest of anyone, and to take the decision to go to war is the most dangerous decisions that any leader or official can take. Indicating that" War in the Gulf can be avoided by the change of Iranian behavior ».

"I am confident that the leaders of Saudi Arabia do not want war, but as Prince Saud al-Faisal, may God have mercy on him, said a few months before his death, "we do not want war, but if it is imposed on us, we are its men. This is Saudi Arabia's approach"

A huge mistake

Al-Maalami pointed out that "The common factor in all current events and in all the tension is Iranian behavior in the region.", adding that the Iranians "make a grave mistake when they think that their intervention if it has limited success in Lebanon, Iraq or elsewhere can be repeated with success on the scale of the Arab nation, as there is a solid base for the Arab nation which is Saudi Arabia ».

The Saudi ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the role of US national security adviser John Bolton in "encircling Iran's ambitions in the region. The man is not hiding his enthusiasm for an operation in Iran in one way or another. But the decision-making process in the United States is difficult and complicated and ends with the president himself."

Strong pressure

"President Trump is exerting strong diplomatic, military and economic pressure, which we missed in some previous administrations, and we hope that this pressure will lead to a change in the behavior of the Iranian regime," al-Maalami said. "We do not want to change the regime. This is up to the Iranian people, but we want to change its behavior. Of course, within the means of pressure on the Iranian regime, the economic sanctions and the blockade are primarily diplomatic. We want these pressures to succeed in order to avoid war."

On the "Deal of the Century", the Saudi delegate said: "No one knows its content. The United States says it will announce it after the end of the summer. That is welcome, but if the deal of the century does not include an independent Palestinian state, the dismantling of settlements, the right of sovereignty and the return of refugees. It is a failed deal. "

. . .
Oh really, what sort of deep analysis came to this conclusion:-"it is not in the interest of anyone"
Only one country has been outwardly been pushing for war using foreign troops against Iran and that is Israel.
Does that mean that Iran is provoking Arabs on behalf of Usrael?

. .
Some one is instigating both sides to the slaughter house.
Yes it is possible that a third party is involved.. but who can influence both Iran and Saudi Arabia at the same time !? That is a mystery..

. .
Same group that can pull off the greatest false flags and declare war on Islam?
False flags won't work in this instance.. Both UAE and KSA want to avoid war..So they are keen on finding the truth about the latest attacks/provocations.. if you read the article again you'll see the stance of the Arabs and the US, that war is a difficult decision but it can be taken if war is imposed..meaning that if Iran is proven guilty without a reasonable doubt.. then war is possible..

.
If Saudis were real men they would have been able to deal with the Houthis especially with all there fancy U.S made arms that the Saudis posses!

If you push Iran to war then Iran will accelerate Nuke weapons program, is that what the world wants?

That is funny.. if war happens it will be sudden and deadly.. it takes time to make a nuclear bomb..That will worsen the Iranian case, the whole world will gang up against it.. and BTW Iran is being watched very closely both formally and informally.. easy said than done..The best solution will be for Iran to deflate its ego and change its provocative actions..That should be a sane action for Iranian people's sake and for the region at large..

Iran already has the nuke bomb. The question is whether it goes into full scale production and increases the quantity and quality of their weapons.

Iran is too mountainous and their nukes and weapons facilities are well hidden and defended in the mountains. Unfortunately their secret facilities are untouchable as much as I would like to see their nukes neutralised.

It is possible..but most likely not probable..in that case Iran will be faced with more powerful nukes..likely hydrogen bombs.. So there is no war solution for Iran but to change its behaviour diplomatically and stop its war provoking acts..

I very much doubt it as anything that threatens the security and existence of Israel is seriously considered. There is a price for Israel they (Neocons) are not willing to exceed. The whole game is being played for Israel and on behalf of Israel and so if Israel's existence is threatened then the whole ball game stops in it's tracks.

In that case.. Iran is playig on the side of Usrael.. otherwise why should it provoke the Arabs..because in case of war, Usrael won't even have to intervene.. so it is really a strange game played by Iran..
