If true then the much hyped PAC Patriot isnt as efficient as claimed.

It depends upon how many batteries are there. If there are only a few, then a volley of missiles can easily overwhelm them. But having said that, the circumstances of the attack are still unknown to have a clear idea of how these batteries were overwhelmed.
