But you're deflecting. We're not talking about some economic or development comparison. We want ways to empower the kashmiri revolt against rapist Indian Generals. Pakistan would happily go without any internet if it meant Kashmiris could fight against Indian rapist Generals.Trolling and deflecting won't change the facts and figures. Keep oinking.
That's a stupid comparison, India having a gigantic population is bound to have larger number of users, more accurate comparison would have been in percentage.
In Pakistan you can't get anything like that, this helps a lot in increasing number of users. There is no free data given by anyone.
It's just that we get 1.5 GB data daily which is high speed and slow speed unlimited with all the out going calls free for 169 rupees a month
1. selective shutting down of internet is a state policy in kashmir . a shut down of internet is administered as a 'punishment' to the populace of IOK and ensures a virtual black out
2.fawad chaudry recently tweeted , asking for suggestion reg satellite internet for kashmir that cannot be blocked. he got a lot of flake and ridicule on this idea
3. SPACEX , elon musk's space company , has been working on low latency, fast and cheap ,satellite internet . the project is called STARLINK
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starlink_(satellite_constellation)
4. as of now, SPacex has deployed 160+ LEO satellites in orbit and elon musk has even tweeted using a 'space net ' connection.
5 . a user would need a box, a small antenna and would be getting speeds upto 100 MBPS at a cost of around 80 USD per month. with more launches and competition , price would go down and eventually, aims are to have a smartfone that can catch these signals . ( read, kashmir )

the 'satellite internet ' wars are just getting started with oneweb ( a project of airbus) launching its own constellation

Providing satellite internet is a good idea and should be looked into empirically
So 5% is the margin required to be a super power? And you are implying that by getting margin of 5% India has been able to provide internet to majority and we don't?We aren't spaceX. You are living in the clouds, come down and view the ground reality. How many satellites SUPARCO has even sent so far?
First, provide internet access to majority of country then we can look towards assisting others.
Even then, India stands at 40% while Pakistan stands at 35% so...
yeah indeed ypu people start worshipping it because dung is more expenaive then kohinoorThat is history now. Not the same for your country, you can check that over internet. And that's not the topic either.
No, it's a fair comparison. Even taking percentage India fares better in internet penetration. That's a stupid comparison, India having a gigantic population is bound to have larger number of users, more accurate comparison would have been in percentage.

There is no free data, it costs Rs.4/GB if you consider the exact charges and have to pay around Rs.450 every 3 months to avail this offer. On top of that Bharat is free data being provided by JIO
Where did I claim India is rich? I simply said worry about poor internet penetration in Pakistan first before thinking about Kashmir. That too expensive satellite internet which Pakistanis themselves cannot afford. As per people like you Bharat is rich and every Bharati lives a life of Raja while Pakistan is dirt poor.Tell me why it's just 5% more than a poor state, which is in war like sitution for 2 decades as compared to peaceful rich Bharat?

We have low PC usage as compared to many states in world.Where did I claim India is rich? I simply said worry about poor internet penetration in Pakistan first before thinking about Kashmir. That too expensive satellite internet which Pakistanis themselves cannot afford.
And it's not our fault you're in war like situation, it's your own actions that led to such a state.
The usefulness and demand of a personal computer has gone down with rapid smart phone development which can do almost everything that a personal computer do. Computer has become a commercial device, no longer a personal device. We have low PC usage as compared to many states in world.
Damage control what? I said the statistics used by that guy is incorrect and that indeed is incorrect.I did not say that or imply that. You are just doing damage control.
I proved you wrong and my point is that our Science minister is garbage.
Most Internet users in India do not use PC/laptops, they are smartphone users. It would cost just INR 4000 for a decent 4G enabled phone. You can get a second hand one at 2k.We have low PC usage as compared to many states in world.
