SAS seize Iranian rockets in Afghanistan

British Special Forces have intercepted a convoy of Iranian weapons destined for Taleban insurgents in southern Afghanistan, US, British and Afghan officials said today. General David Petraeus, the commander of US and Nato forces, briefed President Karzai of Afghanistan on the haul in Kabul earlier today. A convoy of three pick-up trucks laden with 48 rockets was intercepted in Nimroz province, which borders Iran, Pakistan and Helmand, on Feb 5. Officials said it was the clearest evidence yet of Tehran’s duplicity: secretly arming the Islamist insurgents while also bankrolling Mr Karzai’s regime with bags of cash given to his chief of staff. William Hague tonight condemned Tehran’s “completely unacceptable” behaviour

Iran historically has been the enemy of the Taliban, they even fought the Herat uprising along with NATO/US early on in the war.
I think this is just propaganda to demonize Iran.

US and Nato also claimed that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction and then they admitted it was a mistake.

US also claimed that Raymond Davis is a diplomat and then they admitted that he is a CIA Agents.
