Being on the Adult Swim block this indicates that the new seasons might just be more serious and mature compared to the earlier seasons. I am a bit worried that the animation quality might decline, Samurai Jack was directly drawn by hand, which is why all the fighting scenes in the show look so fluid.

japanese have taken the art of cartoon making to such an advanced form that americans should just simply give up. up to age 12 i watched american cartoons on cartoon network. but later i watched japanese anime with my younger brother as a grown up. i think all kids should watch anime. its much better for their development. american cartoons is a waste of time.

The only thing that comes close animation wise is movies most of the time like those from Studio Ghibli, but the actually tv shows are rather poor in animation compared to America. I mean just look at the mouth movements, in the US they actually animate the mouth to match with the dialogue, in Japan they don't to save on the budget. Regardless, I will none the less commend Japan for choosing to stick to traditional animation rather than move on to Computer animation like the US has. In that case maybe Japan has beaten America in this regard.

Ive watched them and i dont think any of them was better than anime. When was the last time you saw something like this in a cartoon

the whole class shooting at the teacher while he takes attendance and dodges their bullets simultaneously. It takes imagination to come up with situations like this. Cartoons are devoid of such imagination.
