When others create such terminologies as Muslim terrorists, fanatics or fundamentalist and label your strategic assets as the Islamic Bomb, then i feel one is inclined to flip over the coin to show the other side of the picture. If one believes that his religion is supreme (all religious people do), then it does not require proving that every famous, intelligent guy has changed faith to his religion.
The story appeared in the media and i took it to it's face value, to me, Neil Armstrong converting was no more thunderous than the others in the list. The story of Neil Armstrong hearing an "azaan" is just another stupid myth cum conspiracy theory that goes deep into popular Pakistani and Muslim narrative. I've even heard from people claiming to have as usual heard from somebodye else that Neil Armstrong was languishing in jail because he cannot be allowed to come outside for he'll spill the beans on The Great Moon Hoax Theory.
Why do you feel the need to assert that everybody has become a Muslim?
Sir, we are merely arm chair generals, i doubt any member here on the forum swears by our name, i merely posted or disclosed what i saw or read in the run of the mill media, the thought never crossed my mind that any such disclosure would effect my vote bank or change the course of history. As they say, wet tongue can slip as the moving finger can fluctuate. The usual method. When told something is a myth/hoax/conspiracy theory, deny it with another one and/or claim that it is being suppressed.
Armstrong has never stood up for public ever. Never.
These stories were reported across Pakistan, Malaysia, Egypt and the Middle East and depict the level of intellect that is assumed of the common reader.
Windjammer, I always accepted that you were a wise person. I'm hoping you'll search on myths before you claim anything next time.
