Salman Khan backs Pakistani actors, says artists are not terrorists

New Delhi: Marking one of the biggest military moves and sending a straightforward message to Pakistan post the Uri attack, India opened surgical strike on Pakistan recently, in order to diminish the terror launch pads in the neighbouring country.
India attacked terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control on Wednesday night, inflicting heavy casualties.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tough response to the September 18 attack on an Indian Army base at Uri, has united the nation.

Surgical strike is being called the right signal sent out to Pakistan, harbouring the terror camps.
At the cultural end, on one hand Pakistani artists are being asked to leave the country by MNS, in response to which superstar Salman Khan spoke about maintaining peaceful relations between the countries.
He further said in a press conference that the action taken towards terrorists is justified however, Pakistani artists are not terrorists.
Reiterating the fact that artist have come to India with proper documents and are not terrorists, Salman backed Pak actors and singers.
Two voices have emerged in Bollywood, one supporting Pak artists to stay in the country and another opposing the same.
After the Uri attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said the attackers will not go "unpunished" and that the sacrifice of 18 jawans will not go in vain.
