Saleem Safi is asking PA to revolt against Government

Saleem Safi yesterday has urged the PA to form a national government.

What he is saying is that the Army should take full control for fight against Corona until the national government is formed.

Two messages in his tweets. The Army should overrule the efforts of the civilian government.
These are the same people who were demanding that General Musharaf should be tried under Article 6 and punished.

Now they are demanding that Army should discard the government, i.e. commit open revolt and treason.

Asking of National government is another demand which would means that the Army throws out the current government, which once again would be treason.

If there is continuous downturn in the economy we can expect Marshal law within the year. We cannot let incompetent government to run the country, it will be a recipe for a disaster as it will lead to riots and rebellion by the people. Only the army will be able to implement a disciplined managed change. We cannot expect the people to continue to suffer, the love for democracy can only go so far. The people and country must come first.

What is happening on economic front!!

How many people are in troubles, how many businesses looking for help both from the government and from the banks.

Only last year I went self employed and started my own business. Now i cannot claim any grant from HM Revenue and Customs, because i have not filled 3 years business accounts. Only been operating less than one year. All my life had paid taxes, but no help whatsoever.
Paying rent and other expenses from pocket, while the business is shutdown for last 3 weeks. God knows for how long.
Day before yesterday I had to pay one of my staff, who was struggling.

Come on mate, shame on you for making such comments. It shows your political affiliations. I am sure you were quiet when the thugs were ruling Pakistan and looting and destroying it.
I am sure you count running huge deficits, artificially propping of the rupees from dollars borrowed on very high interest rates as sound economics.

Pakistan is performing well compared to the world and even compared to India in the fight against COVID-19.

The Economy was doing fine recovery then COVID-19 happened. It is understandable that Pakistan's brittle economy is hurt, more than most other countries, because when IK took over it was already in intensive care needing ventilators.
It will improve, I am certain of it. It may take a little time to repair the damage of COVID-19.
You know very well British Economy is also tanking. There are thousands upon thousands applications to DWP for benefits, so much that system is overwhelmed. Similarly by the businesses. They are flooding the HM R & C with help applications for business and banks for the loans the government directed the banks to provide.
I happen to be one who is effected by this rush. Just before the announcement I had a meeting with my Barclays Business Mortgage adviser to buy a Commercial Property, where I am operating at the moment. She requested some documents and accounts. Like I said, it is less than one year, so I waited to prepare the financial statements as at 31 March to coincide with Tax year. When I submitted the documents on 2nd April, she immediately called back that she cannot even look at my application for 2/3 weeks at least. She says that Bank has suspended any new applications, until we sort out the back log of the companies and businesses requesting help.
