Franco-British squadron at Cherbourg in August 1858. Amazing photos of Gustava Le Gray.

French squadron is made up of 6 Ship-of-the-line which are Admiral Romain-Desfossés(Brittany) , Napoleon, Arcole, Eylau, Alexander, Austerlitz, all have 90 guns. Donawerth (Rear-Admiral Lavaud), Ulm, St. Louis, all three have 84 guns . Also some small ships... At that time, these were the majority of the French navy.
