Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Saturday said that after participating in funeral of martyred Captain Qasim that terrorism will be rooted out from Pakistan at any cost and that the sacrifices of martyrs will not go in vain.

Captain Qasim Shaheed was martyred while fighting terrorists in Tirah Valley and was presented with guard of honour at Race Course Ground Rawalpindi by the Pakistan Army’s squad.

The funeral prayer was attended by Army Chief, Naval Chief Admiral Zakaullah and other senior military and civil leadership.

The army chief presented tribute to the martyred captain and expressed determination to continue the war against terrorism until elimination of last terrorist from the soil. He said the sacrifices of martyred soldiers will not go in vain.

Expressing pride and honour at his son’s bravery, Captain Qasim’s father said that his son has made him proud by sacrificing his life for the sake of country’s security.

Gen. Raheel many of our jawans have also been martyred in Balochistan province, why not take action against rented terrorists in the province & deal with their foreign handlers as well.
