We own a large Knitware production (a BGMEA member) and looked into exporting to india, in the end we realized the margins were so low that it was un-economical.

BGMEA needs to concetrate its marketing efforts in countries where we can earn higher margins and have better prospects....China, japan, ASEAN and eastern europe etc.
