Saad Rafique slams Altaf over mourning call; terms Qadri as agent

LAHORE: Federal Railway Minister Khawaja Muhammad Saad Rafique on Tuesday lashed out at MQM head Altaf Hussain, calling him an ungrateful person. Meanwhile Saad Rafiq has termed Tahirul Qadri as agent.

Speaking to media persons outside the Parliament House, Rafique said that Hussain has set an unprecedented example of betrayal.

His remarks came after Hussain announced a day of mourning in Karachi against the brutal crackdown in Lahore in which eight people, including two women, were killed.

Reacting to Hussain’s call, he said that Tahir-ul-Qadri was an imposter, who was only creating anarchy. “The nation truly remembers the tactics of Tahir ul Qadri,” he added.

The PML-N leader said that judicial commission would launch an inquiry into the violence. He said it is easy to level allegation but difficult to prove it.

He said the human life is very precious, adding that unfortunately Qadri was succeeded in his agenda, adding that the judicial commission will bring all the facts regarding the Lahore incident in front of masses.

Exactly , how many people did you kill again?
What was the need to enter the area at 2 AM to remove some " barriers "?
Why weren't the SOP's followed by the police who resorted to firing on the public at the first instance of resistance?
What exactly were the policemen playing at , torturing protesting men and women in the area - the footage of which is available?
Why was the excessive force used ? Were we delivering a message ?
Who exactly are the people in plain clothes roaming with police , carrying weapons and breaking windows so to pass the blame?
How exactly did the operation continue for 8+ hours without the Govt of Punjab and the CM taking any action?
How exactly did it happen that around 7 people were killed and 80+ injured while trying to remove again blockades?
How many policemen were killed if the PAT workers were AUTOMATIC weapons as claimed to be heavily recovered?
Was it more than an operation to remove barriers and blockades as is claimed?
Why was this timing selected by Punjab Govt even though the blockades have been there on ages?
Who ordered the operation if not the Khadim-e-Ala?
How many blockades are present in Raiwind which are a source of inconvenience for the public as was the pretext here?

I know that it is very difficult to prove but at least should have made an effort to answer these basic questions instead of trying to shift blame and engaging in political mud slinging when the nation is at war .

Today was an excellent example of good governance of Shehbaz Sharif.

If I dont say 'laanat yum per Shehbaz Sahrif & PMLN', I will not do justice.

Where are the people on this forum who shouts down others and gives us examples of how good administrator their chota madaari is?

Sixth time in govt of Punjab. Every time a majority govt. Even then PMLN could not do police reforms? The most basic structure of governance is police, investigation and courts. Police and investigation comes under the province.

We are told of glowing examples by followers of PMLN of what an acrobatic chief minister Shehbaz is. He reaches nooks and corners of Punjab with media to show how efficient he is. He is not efficient, he is show man. If he was efficient, he would have reformed police not politicized it.

Did the followers of PMLN see Gullu Butt leading the contingent of police? Gullu Butt is their known goon. According to showbaaz he is sher e Lahore. This is character of PMLN. Other status quo parties have militant wings. PMLN has Punjab police.

If it was issue of barricades, shouldn't they have started by removing barriers from Model Town home of the Crown Prince of Punjab and the Royal Family palaces at Raiwid? Laanat ho PMLN tum par laaanat ho!!
