This is a photograph of Gama (Ghulam Muhammad )Pehalwan,he earned the title of Rustam e Zaman, champion of world wrestler from British Govt.His younger brother Imam Bakhsh (father of Bhuloo pehelwan brothers and grandfather of Jhara pehelwan).Imam Bakhsh also won the title of Rutam e Hind.I have the honour of saying As salam o alaikum to Gama Pehelwan Sahab,when he was living in half finished house in wasanpurah,Lahore.
Rustam,on other hand was a General in Iranian Army and a very strong wrestler as well.He died during the battle of Qadsia against the Army of Rashedoon,when Hazret Umer (ra )were the Khalifa and Amir ul Mominin.
