Russian Secret !!!

3 way race huh?

it's a tough call between usa and china

well so far we know the us is ahead as we have confirmed report of the successful test, as for china we have a supposed photograph but that is though to be for aerodynamic tests and a news report stating that it was tested, and for Russia we have this report, interesting times we live in

I disagree. Initially they led, but by the time of the Apollo program, the Soviets were well behind. The entire Apollo program was (by any standards) a huge success. The Soviets had some terrible explosions and loss of life.

Among others, the N1 program was a disaster:
The N-1 Moon Rocket - A brief history

The shuttle had fatalities, but any system that flew as much as it did would statistically carry such a danger.

Since then, 90% of the robotic deep-space work has been U.S. I know some of it is financial, but that's part of any successful program - the finances and organization to back it up.

Not true. The program was funded on promises of launches every month, and a flawless safety record. The shuttle program is still used as a case study for failures in complex decision making in a series of Harvard lectures.

Russian industry has already outlined the craft’s design, Ostapenko said. “As to whether we will use it, only time will tell,” he added coyly.

Which translates as, “As to whether we will use it, only money will tell,”

the USSR was ahead of USA in terms of missile and rocket technology.

But the USA gained the lead in terms of quality. Most of Russian tech is based on power (see Sukhois) but not reliability (see f-16 :cheesy:).

They can'tbeat USA because their economy can not support it anymore, but maybe China could.

And what about some failures,I mean some accidents in space,I think US lead 2:0 here also

Hope u got it.
