Someone only speculated that he drank local alcohol. You'd definitely think that an engineer (who is not an ignorant day-laborer) would know the difference.

I have seen foreigners trying local alcohol, toddy in my place. I don't know their profession but they are definitely are not day laborers. People have died drinking improperly distilled alcohols. So, it is only relatable.
