Pavel Felgnhauer is a Russian journalist...what does this have to do with NATO confidence?
Новая Газета - NovayaGazeta.ru
Just to clarify to people who don`t know who is Pavel Felgenhauer , he claimed two-three weeks before 2008 war that NATO trained Georgian army would repel Russian intervention "with ease".
As a source he is only sought by Western press because he serves them what they need , as a military expert inside Russia he doesn`t have a reputation. There are others who also have critical stance about military but are simply far more objective.
I mean how funny you have to be to claim that "Russian forces" in Donbass are prime example of battle worthiness of modern Russian army without taking into consideration that these "Russian forces" are not of professional soldiers , without aviation and tactical ballistic systems and high tech gear . To stop pointless discussion here what former German and NATO general Harold Kujat thinks about outcome if indeed Russian military intervenes in Ukraine:
48 hours to stop war in eastern Ukraine and six days to Kiev.
