It is really tragic and most likely happened because a stupid small mistake. I can´t say too much about it but still don´t get why the pilots didn´t noticed that they touched the ground during take off

it happened again and explains the pressure anomalies during the entire flight. A bomb would look different.

Sort of like a 'flash' recorded by a U.S. infrared satellite ? A RUSSIAN 'flash' !! PUTIN IS A MURDERER !! He bombed that plane !!:taz:

i see you have no clue in physics. forget about it.

When you realize and admit that Putin blew that plane out of the sky to further his agenda, we can talk. Until then, numbnutz, you aren't bright enough to follow this conversation.

USA satellite detected heat flash at time of Egypt crash

Its announcement followed Egyptian and Russian authorities categorically ruling out claims from an affiliate of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group that members of the Sinai-based group had downed the plane with a rocket.

A USA infrared satellite reportedly detected a heat flash at the time of the air incident on Saturday, with a senior Pentagon official telling NBC News that the intelligence community in Washington believes that a surface-to-air attack was not responsible.

Once investigations at the site were completed, probably later in the day, they would focus on analysing the contents of the black box flight recorders, Rahmi said.

El-Sissi, speaking to the BBC, said it would “take time to clarify” the causes of the crash that killed all 224 people on board.

But the experts said it’s too early to say what actually caused the plane to crash.

The airline carrier Metrojet, the carrier for the crashed plane, has completely denied that the plane could have crashed due to pilot error or plane malfunction.

The White House said on Monday US investigators have offered to help Russian and Egyptian authorities determine the cause of the Russian plane crash in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

But according to experts, militants could not down a plane at 30,000 feet (9,000 meters) altitude, at which the Russian Airbus 321 was flying.

Earlier reports by media and researchers suggested that the plane crash might have been a result of an onboard explosive device.

“The crew was engaged in routine communications with air traffic controllers”, the news agency said, attributing the details to a source in Cairo, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Forensic experts trying to identify the 224 victims from the crash have divided the types of trauma into two categories: injuries from the fall, and injuries that align with an explosion – such as metal pieces in bodies, the St. Petersburg news outlet Fontanka reported.

Aviation experts aren’t ruling out the theory that the heat flash might have been generated from a bomb detonating on board the plane, however. The airline, registered as Kogalymavia, changed its trade name to Metrojet after one of its Tu-154 jetliners caught fire in 2011 while taxiing before takeoff, killing three people and injuring more than 40 others.

“It can be a coin that was blown outside the aeroplane and imprinted itself in the tail of the plane, which happened in the 1950s Comet disaster, that told them that there was an explosion outwards”, he said.

But the group did not provide any evidence to back up its claim, and militants in northern Sinai have not to date shot down commercial airliners or fighter jets.

The first 10 bodies of victims were identified by their families on Tuesday.

The Russian plane that crashed Saturday (Oct 31) in Egypt slowed suddenly and then plunged to the Earth at 300 miles (483 kilometers) per hour, according to revised data of its final moments captured by flight-tracking website FlightRadar24.

Both American officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to discuss the information publicly. Since 2000, there have been at least 22 tail strikes that caused severe enough damage to warrant an investigation by the safety board, according to its online accident database.
