The LCA is a point defence fighter right?
Can someone tell me it's combat range, combat endurance and if there is any major improvements in both for the mark 2.
I am a little confused, I thought a OBOGS is both more expensive and weighed more then a basic OS. Then why develop a OBOGS for a point defence fighter (potentially the internal and external fuel would run out way before, any OS would and flight refuelling for a point defence fighter is not logical)? Would this not defeat the main aim of the LCA of reducing weight and costs?
