The long delay between PAKFA and FGFA is because FGFA will have many additional features than traditional PAKFA .

No no no... Guys u r dealing with russia and you still don't understand the fact that Russia gives downgraded product to clients (pure customer or partner).. It takes time to develop the downgraded product you know...

Bro any body with minimum common sense can say which one is superior Su30MKI or Su30s of Russia . Brahmos is better or Moskit ? This contradicts your claim . Its not Russia gives , India takes in case of PAKFA/FGFA , we have our official spys involving in PAKFA/FGFA project to check its progress . Simply we dont put away billions of $$$ right ? Its a JV in which India will buy the twin seat better variant in large numbers . But now it seems the equation is changing .

US has monopoly on 5th generation avionics, Europeans have none nor do the Isreal's, so the only way FGFA will be superior to PAK FA is if it gets US tech, which is not going to happen.

we don't care if FGFA is not superior to PAKFA, It still would be better than anything flying except f22.Russians are masters of aerodynamics and stealth also was a Russian concept which Americans used for their first stealth jet.


avionics and electronics is where Russia lags behind but Europeans and isreal is mastered it. rafale's avionics is more or less equal to f 22 so is eurofighter's. isreal also uses their own systems in their F15 and F16 for performance improvement.

We will have Russian tech only , because FGFA takes time to develop we can include the up to date technology of Russia , its not only about the tech , its also about the customization which we get .
