Russia Wagner Mutiny | Updates & Discussions

That is the official Turkish version.
The question one must all oneself is why do a military coup when You can take over the government in a somewhat legal manner by appointing the right (your) guy.
A much more plausible version is that Erdogan was planning a purge of FETÖ, and top FETÖ members found out about the plan and tried a countercoup.
How come Turkey could produce lists of 100s of thousands to be arrested within days of the coup.

In Russia is is much more clearcut.
There is no such thing as an official Turkish version. In 2013 they tried an orange revolution (poisoning Gezi events), then 17-25 December events, then they even tried to arrest the head of MIT and from there they tried to reach the prime minister. In 2015, the PKK declared unilateral autonomy in the southeastern region, erected barricades in the cities and its political arm tried to start a civil war by mobilizing the people on the streets. All methods were tried, the only option left was a military coup, but the mistake made there was that the structure within the army was manipulated and made an early move.

In terms of political parallelism with Atlanticist structures wholly, visible dividing came in 2013. In his own words, former prime minister Davutoğlu, who belonged to the Atlanticist wing, described the dissolution as the dissolution of the Atlanticists and their replacement by Eurasianists(just google it). Both processes are in fact coincidentally overlapping.

About FETO, ander after failed coup attempt, the lists did not appear in a few days. It will be easier to discuss if you learn something about the period between 2013 and 2016. Because you have created a fiction based on the assumption that everything started from the Supreme Military Council process at 2016. The first to be arrested were those actively involved in the coup. The real waves of arrests began with the deciphering of Bylock database and the investigation of the organization's imams. These arrests are actually concentrated in the 2017-2020 period.

100s of thousands to be arrested within days of the coup.
Meanwhile, the total number of arrests is 101K, with around 20,000 FETO members still in prison as of today, and near 104,000 people under judicial control in total.

War Monitor is great at posting absolutely rubbish tweets every 2 mins
Bro, Sprinter is 1000 times worse, and yet you still use him as a source of information.

One thing is for sure, Ukraine's morale is probably at an all time high now.

Putin and Russia have come out of this much weaker than before the start of the insurrection.

I am of the view that Prigozhin is finished, he has given up too soon.
Agreed. The promises of 'amnesty' are as reliable as the promises of amnesty made by Syrian govt where everyone ends up jailed/killed regardless. Russian govt will work to dissolve the Wagner group.
