Sergei Shoigu and Army Chief of General Staff, Valery Gerasimovs is the best that the russian system could produce - anyone who follows will be even worse.

If there was anyone better - Putin would have used them by now - there have been so many rotations of staff that they have had to settle on Sergei Shoigu and Army Chief of General Staff, Valery Gerasimovs ..

I agree Putin said in his morning speech and this covers whole of Russia on live TV unlike the basic Telegram channel that Prigozhin has that he will never let the blood of Russian spilt in Bakhmut and Soledar be spilt in vain

he said they were Russians dying for mother Russia, a criminal maybe but still Russian citizens

and that the Revolution of 1917 stole the victory form Russia in WW1 and this will not allowed to be repeated

Putin puts Russia 1st and he will replace as many defence minsters and head of the army that is necessary to achieve full victory

Prigozhin sacrificed many men and Putin will not let that be wasted, this is a big win for Putin but also for Prigozhin

for once the West actually waited and watched and didnt make any move, I think even they were spooked

Oh shut up, the only reason why they accepted this proposal is because they got what they wanted in the first place, Gerasimov and Shoigu's removal.

Putin is such a weak pathetic leader that after refusing to meet Prigozhin's demands, he ended up fleeing Moscow and accepting the very demands that he rejected in the first place.

If anything, Wagner won. Putin's legitimacy is finished, and he will now he in a much weakened position.

If Putin didn't agree to this, Prigozhin would have taken Moscow.

Will not change the fact Russia's military is truly incompetent from the bottom to the top.

"Better tactical deployments" ? Prigozhin isn't any better than Russian generals who send their soldiers into meat assaults and waves to force the Ukrainians to retreat.

We were told about surovikin "general armageddon" only to lead a failed campaign against Ukrainian's grid energy and don't forget he's the "masterming" of the great "Kherson regrouping".
