Germany has officially announced that it will no longer provide Ukraine with heavy military equipment. This decision was confirmed by Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a public dialogue event in Prenzlau, where he stated that the country will not supply long-range weapons, specifically Taurus cruise missiles, regardless of NATO allies' decisions. Scholz emphasized that such deliveries pose a significant risk of escalating the conflict with Russia and reiterated that this policy will remain unchanged even if other nations choose to proceed differently.

This announcement comes amidst ongoing discussions among Western allies regarding military support for Ukraine. While the U.S. and the UK have recently increased their military aid, Germany's stance appears to be more cautious, reflecting concerns about potential escalation in the warr.
