Even for sale of Eurofighter to Saudi, it required US Authorisation. So there is a possibility that any future European fighter may contain similar components that require US approval.
The point is you can't easily shoot down a jet if it fails to enter your airspace, and how would you do it? Perhaps the technology is there but how do you identify the aircraft, especially if it has transponder turned off. It could be anyone.it doesn't matter where they attack. syria have right to answer...
it might be true.but it's definitely not good for their reputation...
