Twenty-three Russian arms and aircraft makers will display hundreds of military weapons and hardware at the upcoming Dubai Airshow, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) said Thursday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The airshow in the largest city of the United Arab Emirates will kick off Sunday and continue into next Thursday.
"A total of some 200 military exhibits will be put on display," the press office of Russia’s military watchdog said.

Russia’s state-run defense and industrial group Rostech and state arms exporter Rosoboronexport are participating, as well as aircraft makers MiG, Sukhoi and Russian Helicopters. Air defense systems maker Almaz Antey is also attending, according to FSMTC.
Russian military giants have been participating in the Dubai Airshow since 1993. The exhibition was first held in 1986.
This year’s show is expected to attract 800 companies from 50 nations, with the largest exposition belonging to the host country UAE, followed by the United States, Britain, France and Germany.
