You forget that China has long since surpassed Russia. Neither your nation nor Russia nor any other rival of China in Asia can really threaten Chinese interests. That is just reality.

This is simply not true friend........you are very missinformed.......Russia has technology and resources that China only dreams of.....and the Russian military is still the second greatest in the world........with a military pact with Vietnam.........China would be completely book ended and in trouble......but Russia seeks a path of non aggression and diplomacy........Russia would like to unite all Asian nations under the banner of the SCO.......obviously there is going to be overlap where certain strong nations and their interests overlap.........sometimes positively and sometimes negatively........but with mutual respect and diplomacy..........all things can be achieved and win win scenarios can be created for everyone.........the pie is big for everyone.....just as long as no one gets too greedy.............no one said there wouldnt be bumps in the road..........but the main destination must be clear........just look to the middle east to see what ethnic and nationalistic hubris can create.........look at the poor people in that region.........look at whats happening to their countries.........all because some chose to side with the jackals and try to feed on their own brothers..............now the vultures and the jackals are picking off whats left of them and taking it for themselves...............I hope my Asian brothers will be smarter than my middle eastern brothers........

I am in agreement with Goodoldboy,Russian military technological capabilities are unsurpassed in many sectors ,though China has gone ahead in some sectors like AESA and is catching up in others with americans and russians.
