Bigger fighters have better radar to RCS ratio. Same way F6F beat up A6M. It was heavier but it had better power to weight ratio so better speed due to bigger size.

F-35 is not built for air to air like F-22 is. F-16 is not built for air to air like F-15 is. MiG-29 / F-18 are not built for air to air like Su-27/35 is.

F-35A + 160 km AIM-120D / 120 km AIM-120C7 networked air to air missile = no more Russian junk SU-35

as like Pakistan Airforce F-16 kicked Indian Airforce SU-30MKI in BVR combat

btw Egyptian Airforce is so pathetic with F-16, MIG-29M2 , RAFALE and now SU-35 which can not contact each others via data link and IFF System in a war ..... they will shoot down each others

Egypt can not develop even Data link and IFF System for Fighter Jets
only Israel and Turkiye in the region
