Doubt it. Syria bought their MiG-29 in the 1980s and they are still flying. Think it has to do with servicing, not the plane itself.

But of course nobody should fly their planes past 40 years. It is too dangerous even if they are rated for it or not.

Plus, workers need to work. Let them build planes. Don't fly planes too long. Recycle. Recycle. Recycle.
Syria's had them for under 40 years plus they ordered 12 new ones.

. . . .
This is where Russian legs behind. Their planes are superb piece of engineering but lacks in electronics and reliablility.

Hardly. Syria Su-22 flying well after more than 40 years in service. It's a myth from Hollywood. Americans love to diss Russia. Guess what? The first man in space wasn't an American was it? Yeah it was an ethnic Russian. Americans also copied solar panel from Russia. Soyuz was the first that uses solar panel.

you knows nothing but basher/troller you're @undertakerwwefan :enjoy: Russian Jets are more maintenance prone then their western counterparts, like they have less fuselage life, less engine overhauling life etc etc @undertakerwwefan ;):enjoy:

Russia jets are used by 3rd world countries. America jets are used by 1st world countries. 1st world countries maintain their jets in better condition than 3rd world countries do. It has to do with servicing, not the planes themselves. Jets in Russia air force are as well serviced as jets in America air force and last just as long.

The raw materials in Chinese jets, Russia jets, EU jets, America jets are all the same. How long they last depend on how well they are serviced by their users.
